Upon first glance, you would think you are looking at an item from days gone by. Diamond-knitted wool, hand-stitched leather, and hammer-rolled edges on armor; these are all marks you will find on a garment produced by Collin The Necromaker. Known for his anachronistic and “set-ready” fantasy designs, Collin strives to create one-of-a-kind costumes for lovers of all things fantasy. There are many historical garment making materials and techniques that have faded over time with the rise of modern technologies. However, Collin takes it upon himself to learn about those bygone materials and techniques, believing that his audience subconsciously registers those types of details, adding to his immersive designs. Some of those materials and techniques include: herringbone and diamond-knitted wool, linen, hand-stitched leather, hand-finished running stitches, and tool-filed buckles.

Production Coordinator

Aubrey Jaen

I’m Aubrey. Third wheel, crafting wizard, (mostly) behind the scenes strategist, and chaos coordinator to and for Whimsy Gossip. If I don’t have a glue gun, drill or paintbrush in my hand, then I’m likely creating magic in an excel spreadsheet or through a video editing program. I never stop moving. Literally. Thanks to Celsius (#notsponsored) and my never ending need to turn fantasy into reality. I showcase all of these skills through acting and cosplaying, as well as my Design Studio: Once Upon Atelier and my Event Coordinating hustle: COMPENDIO. Because stories are always worth telling with more than just words.

Max Ehrlich

Max is a NYC-based actor currently performing in Aladdin on Broadway, where he found his love for the ACOTAR series thanks to the cast book club that convinced him to read the series. He has toured the country with other Broadway shows such as Mamma Mia!, The King and I, Miss Saigon, and Aladdin. While desperately trying to win over the love of his two kittens, Max is also a videographer shooting short films, live productions, and music videos around the city. He hopes his dedication to his craft and massive nerd heart brings to life a character and story we all love.
